William Honablew, Jr. is the inaugural Digital Equity Coordinator for Baltimore City. Before joining the City’s Office of Broadband and Digital Equity, William served as a Maryland business consultant and attorney. He was able to use his experience working with small to medium size business to re-engineer their business processes and grow revenue while positively impacting their stakeholders. He has trained thousands of people throughout the country on various topics, including financial management, strategic planning, marketing, effective communication, advocacy, the legislative process, etc.
By leveraging his experience and skill sets, William is able to bring Wall Street's tools to Main Street and the "side streets," so no one gets left behind. A community member once told William that, "The solution to closing the digital divide is 'human.' When we put humanity as the focus of the process, we will be able to close it together."
