What does this resource cover? 

This lesson was created by Mary Stoner and the Gail Borden Public Library District and shared on DigitalLearn.org and will introduce learners to using Gmail.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:

  • Identify basic email terminology
  • Create a Gmail email account
  • Perform the following basic email functions:
    • Send an email
    • Reply to an email
    • Attach a document to an email
    • Create a folder
    • Save an email to a folder
    • Move an email to a folder

How long will this program take?

90 minutes

What materials are needed?

Projector, projection screen, computer with Internet access for the instructor, computer with Internet access for each participant, pens/pencils, handouts
