2024 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit

The 2024 Maryland Statewide Digital Equity Summit will be held on Tuesday, October 15th at the National Federation of the Blind in Baltimore to address the topic, "Beyond the Divide: Best Practices & Collaborative Strategies in Digital Equity." The second annual Maryland Digital Equity Summit will bring together digital inclusion leaders, practitioners, and advocates from across the state to discuss critical issues, share best practices, and collaborate on solutions for bridging the digital divide in Maryland. In addition to this year's dynamic lineup of speakers and panel discussions, the selected Maryland Digital Equity Champion Award winners will recognized during a special lunchtime awards ceremony. Date:  Tuesday, October 15, 2024

Registration: $50 after October 1st. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and parking. Visit https://go.umd.edu/2024DES to register.

CEU Information: Attendees are eligible for 

  • 6.5 entry-level Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credits by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. or

  • 5.5 Category 1 Social Work Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by The University of Maryland School of Social Work Office of Continuing Professional Education, which is authorized by the Board of Social Work Examiners in Maryland to sponsor social work continuing education programs and maintains full responsibility for this program. This training is approved to offer 5.5 Category 1 CEUs to Licensed Counselors and Psychologists. Successful completion of this activity requires your signature on the sign-in/out sheet, participation in the entire activity, and completion of an evaluation form.  CE certificates will be emailed within one week. If you do not receive a certificate, please emailcpe@ssw.umaryland.edu. Any certificate requests after one month from the date of the program will not be honored. Learn more.
