What does this resource cover? 

This lesson is created by the Gail Borden Public Library District and shared on DigitalLearn.org and will introduce learners to using the iMovie video editing software.

What will community members learn? 

According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this lesson, they will be able to:

  • Import media into iMovie
  • Adjust photo and clip duration
  • Apply special effects such as the “Ken Burns” effect
  • Add titles and transitions
  • Share and save a movie in the appropriate file format
  • Clipfade in, and fade out audio

How long will this program take?

90 minutes.

What materials are needed?

Macbook for each student, projector, screen, pens/pencils, handouts, sample files (download here: https://goo.gl/fSK6QN)
