What does this resource cover?
This is a workshop created by AT&T, Learning Alchemy LLC, Michelle Frisque Consulting Group LLC, and the Public Library Association shared on DigitalLearn.org that will introduce learners to using Android mobile devices.
What will community members learn?
According to the included lesson plan, after learners complete this workshop, they will be able to:
- Identify external buttons on a mobile device.
- Distinguish between common touch gestures for navigating and engaging with a mobile device.
- Identify apps for common tasks on a mobile device.
- Identify a secure network versus a public network on a mobile device.
- Recall two tips for keeping safe on Wi-Fi.
- Recall two tips for keeping your device safe and secure.
How long will this program take?
60-90 minutes
What materials are needed?
In person: Projector and projection screen, computers with Internet connection for participants and instructors, notepaper, pens/pencils.
Virtual: a web conferencing platform, computer with Internet connection participants and instructors.
